Mary B. Job is serious, but also very witty, which is hard when taking on Inferno.

Miriam M. The narrative voice of Job is wonderful. He also wrote much of the work in the present tense, making it more like Dante's Inferno and the prose more immediate.

John B. He sometimes makes the reader experience the same moment multiple times. At first, I viewed this as a weakness in his writing technique. However, I eventually realized that the repetition was intentional—it forces the reader to fully inhabit the subject’s predicament and experience the emotional weight of the situation from multiple perspectives.

Tabitha A. The story A Short Visit with Mom was the best verse I have ever read! Job takes the reader to the lowest point of inferno (the climax) and describes the experience of an aborted fetus from the baby's perspective. That is not enough. I told him it was too graphic even for Inferno on Earth. His response was to change it to a Fibonacci poem displayed as the pulse of both the unborn baby and mom. It blew me away and, by design, significantly changes the reader's perception.
